Slip into an atom of the greater Meow Wolf universe. This year, Meow Wolf is another friend in the Life is Beautiful neighborhood. Come join us for Party in the SubOrbs – an immersive treat to escape the heat, at the Western. Explore a tiny town full of friends; a mini-city full of inhabitants asking you to stay a while, have a Bev at Beavy Meadows, and watch those neighborhood antics unfold. Say howdy good ol’ salutations to our folks, with bingo eyes on the prize!

Prepare to be captivated by the works of incredible artists who have graced us with their creativity over the years. Eric Vozzola, a Las Vegas-based artist and designer, will transform the iconic Life is Beautiful letters into a vibrant masterpiece that reflects his deep appreciation for abstraction, geometry, color theory, and the beauty of the desert. His work is a symphony of colors inspired by the surrounding environment.

Jerry Misko, a hometown hero, brings his unique touch to the festival once again. His portfolio boasts paintings and murals commissioned by us, as well as renowned organizations like MTV and the City of Las Vegas. His art tells stories, and this year, he’s ready to mesmerize you with his latest creation.

Scott Froschauer’s “Word on the Street” is back to light up the streets of Downtown Las Vegas. Known for his experiential art that sparks connections and empathy, Scott’s collection of street signs with positive affirmations will bring smiles and inspiration to festival-goers.

London artist Andy Leek, with his “Notes to Strangers,” continues to spread kindness and positivity through his street art. His messages of hope and encouragement have traveled across 25 countries, touching hearts and reminding us of the power of compassion.

Neon Saltwater, the master of digital environments, returns with  a takeover of the 10th St Garage. Her stunning 3D creations are a symphony of light, color, and architectural details that evoke a sense of wonder and nostalgia. This time, her immersive piece is brought to the festival through the collaboration with JUSTKIDS, an art platform that has been curating our Art Program since the beginning, adding a touch of magic to the streets of Downtown Las Vegas.

Curated by Paints With Care in collaboration with Meow Wolf, our Local Art Program will showcase the incredible talent of Las Vegas artists. Movable murals will infuse vibrancy and dynamism into the festival, celebrating the city’s thriving artistic community. Local artists participating in this year’s festival art program include work from Paints With Care, Loisse Ledres, Valentin Yordanov, Madeline Scribbles, Nico Roussin, Gem Jaxx, Marshall Scheuttle, Casey Weldon, MGLHRNDZ, Pink House Creation, Conner Graves, and Carbon Forge Design.

Digital art takes center stage with Mila May, whose work draws inspiration from the universe and nature. Bright colors, whimsical characters, and imaginative worlds await your discovery.

Pretty Done’s abstract pop art is a burst of creativity and energy. Bold lines, unique characters, and vibrant colors come together to create a universal language of ideas that speak to all ages.

Color Punch Creative is all about adding that extra punch to your visual experience. Their art is a celebration of creativity, combining a mix of mediums and imaginative imagery that is both fun and informational.

If you’re in the mood to take a piece of the festival magic home with you, don’t miss out on Market in the Alley. Presented by local entrepreneur Jen Taler, this eclectic market is a treasure trove of handmade clothing, art, jewelry, and more. With over XX local businesses participating, you’re sure to find unique and thoughtful pieces that resonate with your creative soul.

So, mark your calendars for September 22-24, and get ready to embark on a visual journey like no other. Life is Beautiful Festival’s 2023 Art Program is all set to dazzle, inspire, and captivate – a celebration of creativity, community, and the boundless beauty of art. We can’t wait to see you there!
